Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the Donbas residents to evacuate

In his video message following the results of the 157th day of the war, the President of Ukraine underlined the necessity to evacuate people from Donbas.

“Many people are unwilling to leave, but it is absolutely necessary. And this decision must still be made. Anyway. Trust me on this. And the sooner it is completed, the more people who will leave the Donetsk region, the fewer people the Russian army will have time to kill.”

“Convince them that they must leave, especially if they have children. If you have the opportunity to assist the displaced, take advantage of it,” Zelenskyy stated.
