Ukrainian Railways does not control up to 10% of its infrastructure because of the ongoing fighting with the Russians

Ukrainian Railways currently does not control up to 10% of its infrastructure, said company chairman Oleksandr Kamyshin.

“In the worst days of the war, we had no control over 25% of our infrastructure. Today it is no more than 10%,” he said.

The company records all the damage to the infrastructure that can be recorded and reports it to the government.

“We do not count these losses in money terms yet, because Russian troops continue shelling, there are areas where we can not check the damage. We will estimate in money terms only after the end of the active combat phase,” — added the chairman.
