Ukrainian serviceman Maksym Kolesnikov returns to service in the army after Russian captivity

Ukrainian serviceman Maksym Kolesnikov returned to the military service after Russian captivity.
“Today is two months since I returned from captivity. +16 kg of weight, +terabytes of information about what I missed, +countless megatons of happiness from communication with family and friends. Yesterday he returned to service in the Armed Forces. I serve the Ukrainian people!” he wrote on Twitter.
Maksym returned to Ukraine during a major exchange of war prisoners on Feb. 4, 2023. A photo of Kolesnikov snapped by photographer Andriy Kachor became popular.
In the photo, Kolesnikov is holding an apple. Before taking a bite of the apple, the former prisoner of war admitted that he was afraid to do so because he had not held fresh fruit in his hands for a whole year.
Kolesnikov was captured by Russian soldiers in March 2022 and returned home 11 months later.
