Ukrainian servicemen save 5 tonnes of books from libraries destroyed by Russians in Donetsk region

In the Donetsk region, Ukrainian defenders rescued 5 tonnes of books from libraries destroyed by Russian invaders, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine reports. Due to Russian attacks, the buildings of educational institutions and libraries had been severely damaged, so the books were almost out in the open. Ukrainian servicemen managed to evacuate the book collections of several libraries from the frontline city of Siversk in the Bakhmut district, Donetsk region to Kramatorsk.
