Ukrainian student created a landmine-detecting drone

In Ivano-Frankivsk, a student of the graduating class Yuriy Tumyr developed a mine detector drone for the Ukrainian military, the сity mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv reported on Telegram.

Yuriy is a student of Ivano-Frankivsk Natural Sciences and Mathematics Lyceum. He demonstrated his development during the IV All-Ukrainian STEAM festival. According to the boy, he first had the idea to create a machine that searches for mines. However, later the teenager managed to develop a drone. To do this, he used 3D printing technology, and the coordination of the device can be adjusted using the app.
