Ukrainian surgeon managed to remove a grenade from the body of a wounded soldier

A Ukrainian surgeon removed a VOG grenade from the body of a wounded Ukrainian soldier, the Command of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports on Facebook.

“While examining the body of a wounded soldier, a surgeon discovered a VOG grenade that burned under the skin. The surgeon made an immediate decision to operate. In a few minutes, ammunition was successfully removed from the wounded man’s body and handed over to sappers,” the report says.
