Ukrainians are fighting for ideals of freedom and security. We will continue to support them.
In his annual Christmas speech, King Philippe of Belgium condemned the ‘cruel and senseless’ war in Ukraine.
“It is a cruel and senseless war that claims to replace the force of law with the law of force,” stated Belgium King, adding that Ukrainians are fighting for their freedom and security.
King Philippe thanked the citizens of Belgium who had opened their homes to Ukrainian refugees.
“We will continue to support them. Around us, we see many commitments and gestures of solidarity,” noted King Philippe.
