Ukrainians are not only defending themselves, but they are defending the freedom of all of Europe

Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs Luigi Di Maio arrived in Ukraine on August 25, 2022, and visited the city of Irpin, which suffered from Russian aggression, reports ANSA.

During his visit, Di Maio said, the Italian government had chosen to be on the side of the Ukrainian people.

“We could not fail to help and support these people and supply them with all the aid possible to defend itself from the invader,” noted the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs.

He added that Ukrainians are not only defending themselves but also defending the freedom of Italians.
