Ukrainians donated about $9,5 million for kamikaze drones in a day
On October 10, 2022, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians donated about $9,5 million to purchase kamikaze drones.
The initiative was launched by Ukrainian volunteer Serhiy Prytula and activist Serhiy Sternenko.
According to them, they planned to raise funds for drones on October 12 but started fundraiser earlier in response to Russia’s massive wave of strikes targeting cities across Ukraine on October 10, 2022.
