Ukrainians set a historical record at the 2022 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships

The Ukrainian national team won three awards at the 2022 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships. All three were gold and entered the top 5 of the medal standings. Liudmila Babak, a canoeist from Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia region, won two gold medals at the championship; Anastasia Dezhytska became the best at a distance of 11.8 km in the junior competition and also won gold for Ukraine.

Thus, the Ukrainian team set a record for the number of medals in one Euro championship.
