Ukrposhta presents the “Kalush” stamp in honor of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 winner Kalush Orchestra

According to Igor Smelyansky, CEO of Ukrposhta, it presents the “Kalush” stamp in honor of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 winner Kalush Orchestra.
“Almost a year has passed since the whole country was rooting for Kalush Orchestra at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 and hoping to hear words that could draw international attention to the war in Ukraine and the hundred Ukrainian soldiers who were then under fire at Azovstal. Wounded, without water, food, or medicine. It was then that the famous words were heard from the stage: Save Mariupol, save Azovstal now!” Smelyansky wrote.
The special redemption of the stamp will take place on April 10, 2023, in Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region, with the band’s leader Oleh Psiuk and its members. The redemption with the First Day stamp will also take place in Kyiv. At the same time, the stamp will be sold in outlets across the country.
