UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Priyanka Chopra told about a 10-year-old girl from Kharkiv who lives in the subway

UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and famous actress Priyanka Chopra told subscribers on her Instagram account the story of the 10-year-old girl Sonia from Kharkiv, who now lives in the subway. The girl spends all her time there with her mother, grandmother, dog, and cat, escaping from Russian aggression. In the video, Sonia told where they sleep, cook, and how they spend their new leisure time. The girl skates on the platform to have some fun and dreams of seeing her friends, going to school, and dancing classes.

“No child should live underground. No child should live in fear. No child should be deprived of his or her rights. That is why what UNICEF and its partners are doing to help children and families in desperate need of security, stability, and protection is so important,” Chopra wrote, urging all concerned to help financially Ukrainian families affected by the military action of the Russian Federation.
