Up to June 10, 2022, 388 crimes of Russians against Ukrainian cultural heritage were fixed

As of June 10, 2022, 388 crimes committed by Russians against Ukrainian cultural heritage have already been documented.

Russian war criminals destroyed and damaged 142 religious buildings. Among them are 51 monuments of history, architecture, and urban planning or valuable historical buildings. Russian shelling and bombings caused destruction or damage to 119 cultural heritage sites in Ukraine, including 21 monuments of national importance, 91 of local significance, and 7 newly-discovered cultural heritage sites.

Russians destroyed 42 memorials in honor of historical figures and events of the XIX and early XXI centuries; 30 museum buildings and complexes and reserves; 75 houses of culture, theaters, and libraries; and damaged other objects of valuable historical architecture.
