USAID to support the development of Diia in other states
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is strengthening its digital support for Ukraine and providing support for the development of Diia in other countries. Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Telegram following a meeting with USAID Administrator Samantha Power.
“Our innovations in service delivery: mobile first, digital documents, automatic services without an official, mobile signature, state-targeted payments in Diia, etc. are of great interest and demand among other countries. More than ten countries are actively studying and planning to adopt the experience of Ukraine’s Diia,” the minister wrote.
Following Davos, USAID plans to allocate $650,000 to develop an approach to spreading Ukraine’s digital experience and the Diia mobile application to other countries.
