Visa and Mastercard announce the suspension of Russian operations
Cards issued by the financial service companies in the Russian Federation will not work abroad, while cards issued by foreign financial institutions won’t work in Russia.
“We are compelled to act following Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, and the unacceptable events that we have witnessed,” said CEO of Visa Inc.
