Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s jacket sold for £90,000 at a Ukraine fundraiser in London

Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s famous khaki fleece has sold for £90,000 at a fundraising auction for Ukraine in London. — The Telegraph reported.
Boris Johnson, who led the auction, called the Ukrainian president “one of the most incredible leaders of modern times.” The UK Prime Minister suggested the garment should go for much higher than its £50,000 starting price, which the Prime Minister described as ‘a snip’ as he urged people to dig deep and spend big.
The hammer came down at almost double the price at an event at the Tate Modern, raising vital funds for humanitarian aid to Ukraine, invaded by Russia in February 2022.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy gave a speech by video link before the bidding at the Brave Ukraine fundraiser, during which he praised the UK and “brave Boris,” who had visited him in Kyiv.
