Vyshyvanka run was held in New York’s Central Park
Vyshyvanka (traditional Ukrainian embroidered shirts) run has been held in New York’s Central Park on August 21, 2022, reports Ukrinform. The race was dedicated to the upcoming Ukraine’s Independence Day.
More than 100 people participated in the race and ran 2.5 miles (about 4 km).
The run also had a charity mission. Participants of the event could make a donation. The funds will be sent for humanitarian purposes of Ukraine.
