“We are all committed to make sure that Ukraine wins this war”

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Wopke Hoekstra, said that Ukraine must win the war with Russia and emphasized the need to provide support to Kyiv as long as necessary. He also added that no one expected such unity from the EU in response to Russian aggression.

“If you see what European Union and other friends of Ukraine have done in terms of supplying weapons, in terms of humanitarian aid, in terms of harboring refugees, if you look at the amount of sanctions…I think it is without any precedence. It is certainly something many across the globe wouldn’t have expected from the European Union, including Vladimir Putin,” said Hoekstra.
