“We are going to liberate all of our territories, including Crimea. Because Crimea is Ukrainian territory, liberating it is a strategic goal for Ukraine. But we’ll take it one step at a time,” Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov stated in an interview with CNN.

The first step in this process, according to Reznikov, will be to stabilize the situation on the battlefield, when Russian troops will no longer be able to advance.

The second stage, as he explained, will be to reject the Russians in their current position before the invasion on February 24, 2022.

Only in the third stage, according to the minister, Kyiv will discuss with Ukraine’s partners how to liberate Ukrainian territory, including Crimea.
