Trembita is the world’s longest musical instrument, with a length ranging from 3 to 8 meters. It is a male instrument because it is extremely difficult to play.

It announced the departure of sheep to the meadow, the departure of the family to the other world, or the birth of a child in the family. It had been invited to a wedding and had been caroled. It used to be nearly the only means of communication between the shepherd and the village.
