“We must make sure that the offender pays for reconstruction”
Prime Minister of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, said Russian assets and those of Russian oligarchs present a “huge pot of gold” that should be used for Ukraine’s reconstruction. — The Guardian cited his speech at the “International Perspectives on Ukraine’s Recovery, Reconstruction and Modernisation” conference.
“We must make sure that the offender pays for reconstruction. Russia should pay Ukraine war damages, war reparations,” Morawiecki said, adding that Europe had been “to some extent, a paper tiger” and was much stronger than Russia.
