“We will continue to support Ukraine and its people. We will not allow for war fatigue to be set in”

European Parliament President Roberta Metsola held a press conference with the Speaker of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk.

“It has been over three months since Putin launched his illegal war on Ukraine. The European Union has sent military, financial, political, and humanitarian support and we will continue to support Ukraine and its people. We will not turn away or allow for war fatigue to be set in,” said Metsola during the press conference. “The European Parliament will continue to actively support Ukraine in a process of applying for EU candidate status. This Parliament’s position is clear.”
