We will hold a flag over Antarctica! — Easter greetings from Ukrainian explorers at Vernadsky station

The 27th Ukrainian Antarctic Expedition team, which began wintering at the Academician Vernadsky station, recorded a video message to the whole of Ukraine. The polar explorers thanked the defenders of Ukraine and all those who selflessly helped them in this courageous cause.

“Today is a big holiday for many Ukrainians — Easter. But at the same time, today is exactly 2 months since the terrible day when the enemy launched a treacherous offensive against our Ukraine. A terrible war has been going on for 2 months. Thousands of Ukrainians were killed, hundreds of children, and millions of crippled destinies. Cities are destroyed and memory ruined. But no matter how hard the enemy tries to destroy us, we stand because the Ukrainians are unbreakable and invincible.”
