“We will not leave the Ukrainian people alone” Prime Ministers of Spain and Denmark visited Kyiv

Danish Premier Mette Frederiksen and her Spanish counterpart Pedro Sanchez both arrived in Kyiv early on Thursday, April 21, 2022. They visited the war-torn town of Borodianka in Kyiv region and met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“Shocked to witness the horror and atrocities of Putin’s war on the streets of Borodianka. We will not leave the Ukrainian people alone,” said Spanish PM on Twitter.

Denmark’s Prime Minister pledged to send more weapons to Ukraine during a trip to Kyiv. “We intend to deliver more weapons to Ukraine because that is what is most needed,” Frederiksen told the Danish channel TV2.
