“Why are children dying in 2022 and we can’t stop the war?”

Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds dedicated a speech and a song to Ukraine during the performance at the Opener festival in Poland.

“Why are children dying in 2022 and we can’t stop the war? Why can’t we do more than sing songs of support? I feel helpless. I’ve read your letters, your words. I know you’re here, so this song is for you. May your families be safe and may there be peace for your children to see,” said Dan Reynolds and performed Alphaville’s song “Forever Young.”
