The Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, addressed the members of the Ukrainian Parliament via video link. He supported Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression and stated that Croatia supports Ukraine’s membership in the EU.

“Croatia fully supports Ukraine’s obtaining the candidate status for EU membership. We congratulate you on this and wish you to quickly implement all the recommendations sent to you by the European Commission. This candidate status is not only a reflection of the unity and political determination of the EU at the time of Russian aggression but also a merit of the young, dynamic, and self-aware Ukrainian democracy, which has grown and gained strength over the years,” Andrej Plenković said.
