Woman gives birth on New Year’s Eve in Mykolaiv region

Mykolaiv Governor Vitalii Kim has reported that a real miracle had happened on New Year’s Eve in the Mykolaiv region.

A pregnant woman started having contractions at home – as the ambulance was on its way to pick her up and take her to the hospital, it got stuck in the mud. While the ambulance waited for emergency services to help it get unstuck, a midwife was called via Skype and guided the pregnant woman through birth online – she gave birth to a girl.
