YouTube started blocking Russian state-funded media channels around the world

YouTube announced that it had begun blocking Russian state-funded media channels globally. The service also suspended all methods of monetizing content in Russia.

On its official Twitter account YouTube stated: “Our Community Guidelines prohibit content denying, minimizing or trivializing well-documented violent events. We are now removing content about Russia’s invasion in Ukraine that violates this policy.”
