Zaporizhzhia NPP completely de-energized due to shelling by Russian invaders

On November 2, 2022, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant was completely de-energized due to Russian shelling, as reported by the National Nuclear Energy Generating Company of Ukraine Energoatom.
“At present, the ZNPP auxiliary power supply circuit has been optimized; nine diesel generators have been left in operation. The fifth and sixth power units, which are in a hot state, are transferred to a cold state,” added Energoatom.
